During which they are considered to go on a deep sleep. However, as they are not supposedly going on hibernation naturally, there is a real danger to their life. Their body is not well equipped to survive the hibernation procedure. That is what that can lead them to dehydration or hypothermia. Try to take precautions to make sure that your hamster does not go on hibernation in the first place.
